PDM -- Portable Metal Detector without traces of abnormal corrosion. Designed to search the Zone for metal objects that have not been destroyed. The wide-range detector determines whether there is metal nearby. Unlike the short-range detector, it does not show the exact location of the target, but allows you to find the boundaries of the area in which the target is located. Instructions for use. Equip the PDM and press the detector action key (by default -- "E"). Pressing the action button once for a second activates the device. In case of successful scanning, the detector emits a sound signal, the light comes on. Battery consumption is high, old stalkers do not recommend abusing the detector activation.
